Hooper's Back? Maybe ...

On April 16th, 2010, French director Alexandre Aja (High Tension & The Hills Have Eyes) will be handing the movie-going public a platter of blood, gore, and horror. Piranha 3-D is his latest horror offering, a remake of the 1978 Joe Dante film. This film, with it's goofy "3-D" title, may sound like a write-off at first, but it has a seasoned horror director and an interesting cast.

Elisabeth Shue, Jerry O'Connell, Eli Roth, and Ving Rhames are starring, with Christopher Lloyd and Dina Meyer rumored to be joining the cast. But let us not overlook the new addition of Richard Dreyfuss! On IMDB.com, Richard Dreyfuss' character name is left suspiciously blank. Could Dreyfuss be playing Hooper from Jaws? Slashfilm.com seems to think so. Check out their exclusive interview with cast member Paul Scheer ...
